SCHULBAU in Hamburg: Inspiration for healthy school buildings

On 15-16 September 2021, Cruise Center Altona in Hamburg is opening its doors to the SCHULBAU trade fair, a high-profile international forum and trade fair for educational building. Here, you will discover a wide range of Troldtekt acoustics solutions. At the fair’s Experten Lab, Troldtekt explains why focusing on material health is crucial in sustainable schools.

After a self-imposed break because of the corona crisis, several smaller trade fairs are now making a return in physical form, while obviously taking the necessary precautions to protect delegates etc. from covid-19. One of them is SCHULBAU, which in September is kicking off a new series of trade fairs with a two-day event at Cruise Center Altona in Hamburg. Here, architects, decision-makers and suppliers will be coming together on 15-16 September.

As usual, the focal point for SCHULBAU is concrete knowledge and inspiration for all the numerous new buildings and renovation projects being carried out in the German educational sector. Between now and 2030, more than EUR 40 billion will be invested in creating perfectly designed and sustainable learning environments. At SCHULBAU, you can take a close look at building solutions on the stands, and listen to inspiring expert presentations from the stage.

Experience award-winning acoustic solutions

On stand 28, you can meet our experienced team of project consultants, and see the Cradle to Cradle-certified Troldtekt acoustic panels. The stand is also showcasing products from Troldtekt’s design range, which won an ICONIC Award 2019 and a German Design Award 2020.

In Experten Lab, you can hear why healthy building materials play a key role in sustainable school buildings. Tina Snedker Kristensen, Troldtekt’s head of marketing and communications, will be giving a talk and presenting examples of DGNB-certified schools in Germany and Denmark. The talk in Experten Lab is taking place on the second day of the trade fair, on Thursday 16 September at 10:00.
