3daysofdesign: Experience Troldtekt in the Lapidarium of Kings
Everyone with a passion for design is invited to the 3daysofdesign festival, which takes place on 7-9 June all over Copenhagen. Troldtekt will be presenting an inspiring installation among the beautiful old sculptures in the Lapidarium of Kings. Our showroom in Vestergade is also open during the design festival.
For the tenth time, Copenhagen will be hosting the 3daysofdesign festival, which in 2023 is taking place on 7-9 June. Under this year’s theme ‘Where would we be without you?’, companies, cultural venues and others from the Danish capital’s design scene are opening their doors to events all over Copenhagen.
Troldtekt will also be there, presenting acoustic and design experiences in evocative and historical settings.
Good acoustics among royal sculptures
In the Lapidarium of Kings on Slotsholmen, Troldtekt is one of the suppliers exhibiting interior products among the royal sculptures. The permanent exhibition counts more than 350 royal sculptures dating back to the 16th to the 18th century. During 3daysofdesign, they are – while respecting their history – being supplemented by more contemporary design products.
In the Troldtekt exhibition area, you can experience good acoustics and distinctive design – and installations created using Danish red spruce, which for almost 90 years has been one of the raw materials in Troldtekt acoustic panels.
This is the third time an exhibition of design products has been held in the Lapidarium of Kings during 3daysofdesign, but it is the first time that Troldtekt is participating. The organisers are expecting several thousand Danish and international visitors to see the exhibition.

Visit stylish showroom
A couple of kilometres from the royal sculptures on Slotsholmen, you will find Troldtekt’s range of characterful acoustic solutions in a completely refurbished setting. Troldtekt’s showroom on Vestergade in central Copenhagen opened last year in a charming backyard building, and presents a complete spectrum of possibilities for designing stylish rooms with good acoustics.
The acoustic solutions on display in the showroom include Troldtekt’s entire design series, including the new Troldtekt v-line acoustic panels with discreet v-shaped grooves milled into the surface.
The showroom is open to the public for the duration of the 3daysofdesign festival. In addition, Troldtekt is organising a number of invitation-only events for both Danish and international architects.
The showroom at Vestergade 20C is open to the public on 7-9 June from 10:00 to 17:00.
