Newly built kindergarten in Bergsjön

The Merkurius 75 kindergarten, located in Gothenburg, was completed in 2021. A white Troldtekt ceiling was chosen to ensure good acoustics.  

The Merkuriusgatan 75 kindergarten is located in Bergsjön in the north-eastern part of Gothenburg and is a new building from 2021. Tengbomgruppen AB designed the project.

Merkuriusgatan 75 is a multicultural kindergarten with a focus on language development and physical activity. A large yard outside provides a diversified play environment that encourages activities for kids of all ages. There's also an outdoor theatre stage that can be used for events.

There are six rooms indoors, and the design is generally bright, simple, cosy and at children’s height. White Troldtekt acoustic panels have been chosen for corridors, the cloakroom and stairwells. Troldtekt contributes to a pleasant acoustic environment in rooms where sound levels can quickly become high.

Merkuriusgatan is located in the middle of a residential area and is close to the city’s school, library, playgrounds and sports fields.
