Specialist dealer and full service provider of technically innovative products for drywall construction. This description of B+M Baustoff + Metall Handels-GmbH scarcely does justice to the company that was founded over 50 years ago.
B+M is one of the leading suppliers of the dry construction trade with 37 trading locations and 5 production sites in Germany. B+M is also established in Europe as a specialist wholesaler for insulation materials.
Whether building products for the roof or facade, whether timber frame construction or floor screeds, special frames or acoustic ceilings – B+M employees at the various locations provide expert advice and find creative solutions. This also applies to the conveniently located Munich South branch that has been serving customers since July 2018. A very large selection of products for drywall construction is warehoused here on approx. 3,000 m² of hall space and approx. 2,000 m² of open space.
Approximately 700 m² of office, sales and exhibition space is also available for processing orders and advisory services. When designing and fitting out the spaces, special attention was naturally paid to functional fittings and the presentation of selected products.
The various solutions in the Troldtekt design range contribute not only to optimum acoustics and a healthy indoor climate. Especially impressive are the arrangements of wall elements in several differently colours in the office and lounge areas, which strike the viewer as huge three-dimensional paintings.
The Troldtekt® rhomb variant, a rhombus-shaped acoustic panel, and the Troldtekt® dots variant, a panel with 66 round indentations of different diameters, were mounted on the walls and Troldtekt ceiling tiles in the colour natural wood were used in the office space.
The spacious conference room at the B+M Munich South branch showcases further design solutions to advantage. Troldtekt® curves and Troldtekt® line in various shades of grey were chosen to match the floor and ceiling design. Where the curves design solution exhibits soft, repeating curved lines in the longitudinal direction, the line variant features continuous grooves with a seamless impression and invisible joints.
B+M is convinced of the high design impact and functional advantages of Troldtekt acoustic solutions, as are the planners and installers. Their special design is also confirmed by the fact that Troldtekt design solutions were recognised with the ICONIC Award 2019 and the German Design Award 2020 and have been nominated for the DETAIL Product Award 2020.
