Luxurious treats and entertainment for the entire family at the foot of the Alps
It is the largest tourism project in the history of the Allgäu region: a total of 1,000 holiday homes to accommodate between two and twelve people each were erected in southeastern Baden-Württemberg on a 184-hectare former ammunition depot of the German Federal Army. The project also features expansive water, play and wellness facilities.
The central area of the Center Parcs Allgäu in Leutkirch lies on the shores of an artificial lake and is composed of several modern complexes. These house a family entertainment centre with bowling, mini golf, a game world, a climbing paradise, an arcade and much more. One of its main attractions is the Market Dome with nine different restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and various shops, where visitors can also buy many regional products.
The Aqua Mundo is another major attraction for the whole family. The gigantic water world includes a wave pool, 15 large and small slides, the longest whitewater run of all six German Center Parcs, a snorkelling pool, one of the largest water playgrounds in Germany, and many other fun, splashy attractions.
The Spa & Country Club, a separate spa building, is just a few steps from Aqua Mundo and offers visitors the use of saunas, brine pools and various wellness and massage services. The Spa & Country Club, which is a first in the German Center Parcs, offers guests a spacious wellness area operated under the Deep Nature© brand spanning 2,400 square metres, as well as a fitness area and a restaurant serving Asian cuisine called Auszeid Hüttn.
The Spa & Country Club is not just for overnight guests – day visitors can also use the various facilities. Saunas with panoramic views, hammams, indoor and outdoor pools with water animations, hot and cold pools, feature showers, whirlpools, rasul and steam baths, and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas are popular attractions in the wellness oasis. Acoustic ceiling tiles of various colours, which are suitable for damp rooms, are also an element of the design in the wellness and water facility, which has a preponderance of greenery.
However, fun, relaxation and peace is not only on offer inside the building. The outdoor facilities, divided into freely accessible and closed guest areas, offer relaxation zones and recreation areas with planting appropriate to each. Wooden decks integrated into the wooded area also invite visitors to linger by the pool area.
