World Architecture Day is celebrated each year in October. In Denmark, the day is also an opportunity to celebrate particularly successful buildings – and several of the award-winning projects in 2022 use Troldtekt.

Troldtekt is part of the Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology’s project ReSource, which has just been selected for Realdania’s ‘Housing construction from 4 to 1 Planet’ initiative. The project looks at the possibility of replacing carbon-heavy cement with a more climate-friendly binder produced from construction waste.

Troldtekt based on FUTURECEM™ has been selected for a materials exhibition at the ORGATEC trade fair in Cologne. The ‘Materials4Future’ exhibition highlights innovative materials that reduce the climate footprint of interior design.

Troldtekt’s newly opened Malmö office and showroom has been nominated for Sveriges Snyggaste Kontor 2022 – the Sweden’s Most Beautiful Office award. The public can vote for their favourite until 18 November. Ten finalists will then be selected, and the award will be presented at Stora Kontorsdagen – Big Office Day – on 24 November.

Troldtekt’s design solutions series took the Solution of the Year award at the Callwey ‘Wohnbauten des Jahres 2022’ award show in Munich.
